Spencer Charles Buck

This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Spencer C Buck who was born in Bonner Springs, KS, USA on December 17, 1984 and passed away on July 5, 2006 at the age of 21. You will live forever in our Memories and Hearts.
 

Spencer was a very responsible young man who was kind to everyone... He loved to meet new people.
 

Spencer was killed tragically on his way to work (FedEx Freight) on his motorcycle July, 5 2006.  A wrong way driver, Delores Jones, went the wrong way up the exit ramp on I435 NB @ Woodend Rd and crashed into Spencer, killing him.  She received NO consequenses for killing our Spencer, all thanks to the Kansas Highway Patrol...  :/
 

SPENCER'S (27th) BIRTHDAY SAT DECEMBER 17 2011 - We had a great turnout for His Birthday dinner! Remembering Spencer on his Birthday, celebrating his life...  HE IS GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN!!

In loving Memory of Spencer, His Mom organizes an Annual Memorial Run in the Fall:  "Spencer C Buck Memorial Poker Run".  100% if the proceeds benefit the"Spencer C Buck Memorial Scholarship Fund".   We provide a minimum of 2 Scholarships each year!  We have given 12 Scholarships in the last 5 years! They are offered to a Bonner Springs High School Senior for College, and the other one to the Bonner Springs USA Kids Wrestling Club for Summer Camp, gear and/or sign up fees for families that can not afford them.   
 

The 6th Annual Spencer Buck Memorial Run was held on Saturday, Oct 8, 2011. We had perfect weather, sunny & in the 80's.  We had about 155 bikes + cars & trucks making it the biggest event ever!!  A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT JOINED US IN REMEMBERING SPENCER!!  The Annual Memorial Benefit Run is how we raise money for the Scholarships... and to Keep His Memory ALIVE!!

There is also an Annual "Spencer Buck Memorial Novice Wrestling Tournament"  the 6th will be held on Jan 08, 2012 at the Bonner Spings High School.   It is such a great honor to have the annual tournament named after Spencer!!  It's one of the biggest USA Kids Novice tournaments every year.  Thank you Bonner Springs Wrestling Club!
